Five weeks from today (September 23) we will check into the Missionary Training Center. That will be exactly 44 years to the day when I went into the old mission home on Main Street in Salt Lake City in 1968 when I was called to serve in the Chilean Mission. We have been cleaning out, organizing, automating, and studying Spanish. When Sally and I go on our 5 mile walks we work on verb conjugations and some simple dialogues in Spanish. It sure makes the time fly!
44 years sure makes a difference!

We'll be in the MTC for 6 days before flying to Concepcion, Chile. We will be living in Talca, Chile. Our assignment is "member and leadership support." To be able to serve the people that I love is an incredible blessing.
